Hollywood is Burning!

As this blog was founded under the premise of being a quasi-legal blog, sometimes Nye and I feel it necessary to comment on recent legal developments. I don't just mean the fact that some great lawyering got Michael Jackson off (the cheap jokes abound on this one, like "not as much as little kids get him off), but other recent legal news that will affect daily life. I'm talking about the fact that we can no longer download free music and porn onto our laptops.

The entertainment industry is entering the twilight of its career, almost given a fatal blow by college students across the nation. Luckily, the Supreme Court intervened and decided to save Hollywood in the recent Grokster decision. I totally agree with the decision, and I think it was very well reasoned. The fundamental tenet of a capitalist society is, after all, being rewarded for your work. However, based on the excessive whining coming out of California and New York recently, I feel I need to join the 9 justices in their fight for the rich and famous.

Rockers, models, actors, actresses, and directors are just like you and me. It's cliched, but still very true. They wear the same clothes, drive the same cars, and live in the same type of houses (sidenote:do a google image search for "Snoop Dogg," interesting second image, huh?). It's not fair for college students, who work similar types of jobs, to rip them off by downloading music and movies.

This alarming trend is troublesome at best. Using advanced computer technology, I was able to project what Hollywood would look like in 2010 if this trend continues. Disgusting. Here is a rendition of Beverly Hills in 2015. If there is one thing we don't need, it's another Pittsburgh.

To help the Supreme Court, I have established the Save-a-Celebrity foundation. For only $310,000 a month, that's just $10,000 a day, YOU can help save a celebrity. How can you say no to a face like this, or this? Hollywood continues to churn out quality products, if you want this trend to continue, please, please donate to Save-a-Celebrity.

I'm sorry if I caused alarm, but I have to run. My girlfriend wants me to come to bed.

Kiss my ass with your Pittsburgh quote. I am going to start a blog, find a picture of a fire and claim it is Cleveland lighting their river on fire again. Or maybe I can find a picture of Cleveland from the pre World War II Era and remind you its the last time a Cleveland team won a professional championship. Ass clown.

Well, at least a night one can't see the soot and grime that covers 90% of the city...

How long did it take you to do the picture links? They're awesome

Tre, you keep switching between hippy, commie, nazi, and islamofascist...

Pick an identity and blog away,
otherwise leave Dustin Diamond and Eric Estrada out of the argument, let's talk Metallica, let's talk Michael Jackson, those fuckers need to recognize that their fans are still gonna go to their live shows (8000 dollars a ticket) even if they download the cds... and a lot of bands are including pirateproof materials, like the gorillaz, NIN, etc.... So the people boo yooing are the bitches in Cali(Interscope, Capitol, etc), but the rest of the music industry (especially the independant record labels) treats the interweb as another radio, old people, aka the supreme court, don't understand technology and think it is the end of copyright revenue and good ole fashioned capitalism. This is a foolish and senile conclusion that only leads me to move that we burn all metallica cds and paraphenalia in a mass protest at Tre's house.

Now that is being rational!

I hope Rita makes brownies...

And Cleveland Rocks Turkey!
